I wasn't very impressed with Sigh at Damnation either but I'd definitely give them another chance. They do have a very eclectic sound (to say the least!) and that hall was a shocking venue, the sound was absolutely dreadful unless you were iright at the front and the stage was set ridiculously far back from the barrier and was far too low so, again unless you were right at the front, you couldn't see a thing.
