I'm not into Trigger the Bloodshed or Annotations of an Autopsy but I'm toying with the idea of maybe hopping on a train to catch the Sheffield show...
I can swear there was actual sweat dripping from the ceiling at sheffield last night....it was awesome! I got the central barrier position which was pretty sweet, though I was exhausted by about 1/2 - 3/4 of the way through from screaming the lyrics back at corpsegrinder and having my head + glasses crushed by crowd-surfers, and as no-one was giving out water I had to go back. I could barely headbang after that, but as soon as they played skull full of maggots-hammer smashed face-stripped raped and strangled I suddenly found all of my energy again!
Dying Fetus were stunningly good too - they put the first two bands to shame.
Oh I expected them to be good, but they don't really hold my attention for too long on record. Live, however, they are just sickeningly good, which was a pleasant surprise! Trouble is I went to see Amon Amarth last night, which has combined with my cannibal corpse/dying fetus bangover to render me pretty much paraplegic right now! Just moving any part of my body is painful! lol
