Yeah I got nothing against the new melodic singer. He does his part well but he still aint Christian... His more of a power metal-esque voice though! He could work in a purely melodic band.

Karlsson's harsh vocals on the other hand.... JUEHHHH BOI!!!!!

The music seems to be Meshuggah-In Flames style melodeath. Lots of groove and not as much as speed as I'd want.  It's a quite "american". But I like american modern metal so I aint got a problem with that.

But it's no where as great as Pitch Black Progress or Holographic Universe. I think the Solution 45 album when it hits will be much better.

I'll agree with liking the guy's growls a lot more, I dug what I heard because it was different from Holographic Universe...but to be honest I think my favorite will still be Pitch Black Progress with Christian.

But...hey, it's all good still.

...and not wait for the "Die-Hard Pro-Stoner" special edition to come out? :P lol, I'll fighting the urge to download because I want to hear it on vinyl first, but then again it took me ages to get into Vaporized so maybe I will download so its better when I do physically get it...

CD can wait a bit longer as they wont sell out.

I resisted the temptation to download......for 5 minutes then just gave up! I'm sure you'll love it - its exactly as you'd expect it to be. The production isn't as good as on Tube of The Resinated, but then you could hear that on Vaporized when it was on their myspace, and other than that its exactly what you'd want from them :D

No, but I'm thinking it could be the hemp leaf-shaped vinyl that they were talking about at the end of last year, and when they announced this in April. I certainly want it to be that anyway!

Yeh it isnt out yet. The pink vinyl is classed as the first pressing so we better sit tight n se what happens. Ill buy the vinyl and CD soon.

That Ihsahn song is awesome, I look forward to the album.

There's a new Rotting Christ song available here for anyone who's interested. I thought their last album was quite good but I'm not so keen on this song, it's pretty boring. Sounds like they've been drinking from the fountain of Celtic Frost rip-offery as well :P
